About this piece
Hina dolls are best put away soon after the festival; an old saying even warns that a late tidy-up will delay a daughter's marriage. In practice, packing them away on a clear, dry day is the best way to keep them for years.
Seifū-bina is a pair of Hakata dolls. When displaying them, choose a spot out of direct sunlight and away from air-conditioning draughts, and the colours of the robes will last all the longer.
