About this piece
Hina dolls are often given by grandparents for a granddaughter's first festival, a way of giving shape to the family's hopes as she grows, and are treasured over the years.
When giving them for a first festival, it is customary to have them arrive during January so they can be set out in early February. Keishuku-bina is a complete Hakata doll set with folding screen and stand, ready to become the festival display as it is.
