About this piece
The 45th Nitten in 2013 was the last held under the old organisation, before the reorganisation the following year. This Mai by Hakata doll maker Toshiya Honda was accepted for that 45th exhibition.
At 62cm it is one of the more compact of our Nitten works, keeping the presence of a major piece while being easier to display in a home alcove.
