About this piece
Kyōhō-bina is a style of Hina doll that was popular around the Kyōhō era (1716–1736) in the mid-Edo period. It reflects a time when displaying Hina dolls had spread among townspeople and elaborately dressed figures were much admired.
This piece translates that style into an 18cm Hakata doll, letting you enjoy a historic form of Hina at a manageable size.
