About this piece
Kannon holding an infant is also revered in many places as Koyasu Kannon, cherished by those who pray to be blessed with children, for a safe delivery, or for a child's healthy growth. The image of a mother cherishing her child speaks to people across ages and cultures.
This piece renders Jibo Kannon as a 28cm Hakata doll. Welcome it into the place where the family gathers, as a figure that watches over them.
