About this piece
Hina-dōgu are miniature versions of the furnishings a bride once brought to her new home, and have long been set out alongside the dolls on tiered displays.
These three pieces are Hina-dōgu made as incense containers by Hakata doll maker Toshiya Honda. Grouped beside a Hina pair, they evoke the splendour of a wedding procession.
